The Ear

The ear is actually pretty simple. Think of it as a cup like shape. Start with a large loop. This makes the outter edge of the ear.

If we take a flat piece of the ear and pull it under the upper part of the loop we get the raised part of the unside of the ear. (you may want to check it out in the mirror.. you'll see what I'm talking about ^_-)

But as you'll notice, that piece seperates into two pieces that fade into the edge of the ear. And from here, we can also add that squishy part of the ear known as the ear lobe.

how detailed or how simple you make the ear really depends on style and preference. As you've probobly noticed, I tend to use the more simplified version ^_^;;

And last thing about the ear. It connects to the head just past the jawbone. If you feel your jaw around your ear lobe you'll be able to feel where it connects in relation to the jaw bone.
